Welcome to AFECT. Our NGO runs volunteering and eco tours based around our 29 years of humanitarian work. For our 3 day and 7 day tours please navigate the ECO SCHOOL page. For volunteering we recommend downloading our brochure which has pages of details. We will also be opening our Biodiversity tours in 2010.
The Association for Akha Education and Culture in Thailand has been a registered non profit charity for nearly 30 years. Our sole aim is assisting the Thai and Burmese Hill Tribes in humanitarian work.
Afect is also a cultural NGO and preserves the culture of some of the most beautiful and captivating indigenous tribes in the world.
Come and visit our charity helping with humanitarian work amongst the beautiful natural scenery where Burma, Laos and Thailand meet, and witness Tribal pageantry in its most colorful and affluent traditions of art and culture.
AFECT bridges the gap between a great holiday, voluntary aid and a non profit program helping refugees from Burma, one of the poorest countries in the world.
